ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by Dr.G.Jayachandran J.) Pursuant to the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.5266 of 2026 dated 20.02.2026, the Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation has caused notice to the petitioner herein on 03.06.2026 under Section 128(1)(b) of the Tamil Nadu Urban and Local Bodies Act, 1998, calling upon the petitioner to show cause why the encroachment blocking the road should not be removed within 15 days. Within the 15 day period granted under the said notice, the petitioner submitted their reply on 10.06.2026. 2.
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's reply, and until then, no coercive action should be taken.

The learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's reply is under active consideration and appropriate orders will be passed thereon, preferably within a week. 4.
Recording the said submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. (Dr.G.J.,J.)
