Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.09.2021 in accordance with law.

ORDER
(The Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM,J) Heard Mr.K.J.Saravanan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms.C.Sumathi, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent and Mr.K.Raja Shirinivas, learned Senior Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3. 2.The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.09.2021 in accordance with law.
3.It is the case of the petitioner that the fourth respondent who is his neighbour, is putting up unauthorised construction. Despite representation of the petitioner, no action was taken by the official respondents, hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the representation of the petitioner was forwarded to the respondents 2 and 3 to take appropriate action. 5.The learned Senior Standing Counsel appearing for the Greater Chennai Corporation would state that after receiving the representation from the petitioner, stop work notice has been issued on 01.11.2021 and lock and seal and demolition notice has been issued on 19.11.2021 to the fourth respondent. The copies of the said notices have been placed for perusal of this Court. 6.Taking note of the fact that the official respondents have already initiated action based on the representation of the petitioner, we are of the considered opinion that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.
