I heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Mr.K.Sathishkumar, the learned counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2. In this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus to dispose of her representation dated 18.12.2020. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents are tenants of the petitioner, who is entirely dependent on the rental income for her livelihood. He further submits that the respondents recommended an increase in rent by communication dated 13.07.2020, subject to concurrence of the Managing Director. intending to vacate the premises and that a representation was submitted in this regard.

3.Without prejudice to the contention that a writ petition is not maintainable for this purpose, the learned counsel for the respondents submits that the respondents are ready and willing to consider and dispose of the representation dated 18.12.2020 on merits.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 18.12.2020 on merits and dispose of the same by a speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
