The present Miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 5 days in filing the appeal against the order of acquittal dated 07.12.2022 passed by the Metropolitan Magistrate Fast Track Court-I, Egmore at Allikulam in CC.No.52 of 2017.

2. Mr.Rishi S.Ahuja, learned counsel appearing for the respondent has no objection for this petition being allowed.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the main case for admission.
