(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.11.2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b) (ii) of NDPS Act, 1985 and 328 of I.P.C., in Crime No.2597 of 2020, seeks bail.

2. However, today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Soundar Vijay Arul Ram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
