C.M.P.No.9988 of 2016 in C.M.A.SR.No.33834 of 2016 T.MATHIVANAN,J., Not being satisfied with the award passed by the Tribunal, the appellants, being the claimants, have come forward with this appeal with a delay of 2999 days. This petition has been filed to condone the above said delay. 2.Mr.S.V.Vasantha Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that he has no objection for allowing this petition, provided the interest for the default period is waived.

3. Hence, this petition is allowed and the delay of 2999 days in filing the appeal is condoned. It is made clear that the petitioners/appellants are not entitled to claim interest for the default period.
