ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents 1 to 4 to effect Metro Water and Sewerage Connection from the main lines to the building constructed in Block No.M-13, 1st Avenue, Ashok Nagar, Chennai - 600 078, which is named as Ramaniyam Kalpataru.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner applied for water and sewerage connection for the subject property. However, due to objections raised by the respondents 6 to 17, the respondents 1 to 4 could not able to pursue the application submitted by the petitioner. Pending writ petition, there is an amicable settlement between the private respondents and the official respondents.
4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 submitted that the respondents 1 to 4 can provide water and sewerage connection for the subject property.
5. In view of the above, the respondents 1 to 4 are directed to effect metro water and sewerage connection to Block No.M-13, 1st Avenue, Ashok Nagar, Chennai - 600 078, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
