Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent. 2.This Court by order dated 22.09.2023 directed the Court below (Principal Subordinate Court, Ariyalur) to complete the proceedings in C.C.No.01 of 2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Now, it is brought to the notice of this Court that 1/4
the said case has been transferred to the file of Judicial Magistrate-I, Ariyalur and renumbered as C.C.No.22 of 2024. Therefore, the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Ariyalur vide letter dated 02.12.2024 requested further time to comply with the order of this Court dated 22.09.2023.
3. Taking into consideration the above request, the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Ariyalur, is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.1 of 2018 (renumbered as C.C.No.22 of 2024) as expeditiously as possible. Both the parties and their respective counsel are directed to co-operate for early disposal of the case.
4. It is seen from the report of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Ariyalur, that witness warrant is pending against L.W.8 and L.W.12. Hence, the respondent-Police is directed to secure witnesses L.W.8 and L.W.12 and produce before the Court below for further examination. 21.01.2025 ms 2/4
