The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.1987 of 2011 pending on the file of the respondent police and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case in Crime No.1987 of 2011 was transferred from the file of the 1st respondent police to the District Crime Branch, Erode on 01.10.2013, and after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Erode on 09.10.2016 and the same is yet to be taken on file.

3. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present criminal original petition is closed.
