Respondents Habeas Corpus petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 30.01.2016 in No.2/2016 against her Husband Selvaraj, son of Palanisamy, Male aged 48 years and now her husband was confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) This habeas corpus petition is filed challenging the order of detention dated 30.01.2016, passed by the second respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioner.

3. It is stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the period of detention is already over.

4. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
