Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records relating to the petitioner's father detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 05.10.2021 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings No.287/BCDFGISSSV/2021 and quash the same as illegal and consequently, direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's father, namely, Senthil (a) Thadi Senthil s/o.Shanmugam, aged 44 years, who is detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai - 600 066, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] The petitioner is the son of the detenu viz., Senthil (a) Thadi Senthil s/o.Shanmugam, aged 44 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in No.287/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 05.10.2021, holding him to be a "Drug Offender", as contemplated under Section 2(e) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in No.287/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 05.10.2021, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.5776, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 26.11.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.
In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
