This petition has been filed to grant a further period of six months to complete the investigation and to file the final report as per direction given by this Court in its order dated 21.07.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.2082 of 2021.

2. It is seen that this Court passed a direction by an order dated 21.07.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.2082 of 2021, directing the CBCID, Metro Wing, Chennai to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Now, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) seeks further time to complete the investigation and to file a final report.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this petition is ordered and the time to complete the investigation and to file a final report is extended for further period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
