ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2021.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 10.01.2021 to regularize the petitioner's plots bearing Plot Nos:106 (part) to 110 (part) measuring to an extent of 6000 sq.ft., and Plot Nos:124 (part) to 129 (part) measuring to an extent of 6000 sq.ft., at Paneer Nagar, Part II, No:81 Mogappair Village comprised in Old S.No:271/1 (Part), Town Survey No: 19 (part) (Southern Portion), Block No:37, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallurvar District without insisting No Objection Certificate from the second respondent. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents, as on date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, the learned standing counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2021 will be disposed of by the first respondent within a period of 6 weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs issues the following directions: (i) The first respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (ii) In the event, the petitioner's representation is not available with the respondents, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the respondents. Upon such receipt, the first respondent is directed to consider the same, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.
