COMMON ORDER The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respective respondent police in Crime Nos.Not known of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Today, when these matters are taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respective respondent Police submitted that the petition enquiry in C.S.R.Nos.959 and 346 of 2025 are pending against the petitioner.
3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respective respondent police are harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
4. It is seen that the defacto complainant/wife had lodged two complaints for the very same set of allegations against the petitioner/husband before the respective respondent police. In view of the same, the respondent police in Crl.O.P.No.18465 of 2025 is directed to close the enquiry in C.S.R.No.346 of 2025. Further, the respondent police Page No.2 of 4
in Crl.O.P.No.18453 of 2025 is directed to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.No.959 of 2025 and if any prima facie case is made out against the petitioner, register the F.I.R or close the petition enquiry within a period of two weeks from today. The parties are directed to cooperate with the enquiry. It is needless to say that the respondent police shall not take any coercive steps to secure the accused till the completion of enquiry on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant.
5. With the above directions, these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
