The Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent-Police to transfer the investigation in Crime No.157 of 2025 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent to some other investigation agency to conduct a free and fair investigation and to file a final report within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-Police, on instructions, submitted that the based on the complaint given by the petitioner herein the second respondent-Police registered a case in Crime No.157 of 2025 for 'Man Missing'. He further submitted that during the preliminary enquiry, the respondent-Police found that due to hormonal changes, the petitioner's husband behaves like a girl and went to Bombay and the respondent-Police tracked the mobile signal of the petitioner's husband lastly in Bombay. He further submitted that the respondent-Police have taken effective steps to secure the petitioner's husband and they will complete the investigation as early as possible.

Considering the facts and circumstances and also considering the submissions of both sides, this Court does not find any reason to transfer the investigation, since the investigation is under progress. However, the respondent-Police is directed to complete the investigation as early as possible and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
