ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 406, 420 of IPC in Crime No.not known of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3.It is seen from the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the petitioner is charged for an offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC. The learned Government Advocate has submitted that it is the case of cheating for a sum of Rs.36,00,000/-, only enquiry is being now conducted. No FIR has been registered.

4. Considering the facts of the case and that only an enquiry is being conducted , it a premature stage to grant anticipatory bail. So, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police to co-operate with the enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with the above observation and direction.
