ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S. RAMESH, J.) Alleging that the petitioner's wife namely Saranya, aged about 19 years, was forcibly taken away from the matrimonial house by his in-laws, he had given a complaint before the respondent Police and since no effective steps were taken to restore his wife, he has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Today, the second respondent Police have secured the petitioner's wife and produced her before this Court. On our interaction, she expressed that she intends to live only with her parents since she wants to continue her education.

3. When a major person, who has taken a concious decision to choose

her place of living, this Court, in exercise of its powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, will not venture to go against her wish. In view of the same, the prayer sought for in the present petition does not require consideration.
