ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to take necessary steps to protect the places reserved for general public as per approval by DTCP Chengalpattu vide C.S.A.R / D.D.T and C.P.M. No. 87- 358/ L.P. No. 258 dated 21.07.1987 under File No. 4390 / 87 of Ananthi Nagar Layout in Pandur village, Vandalur Taluk, Chengalpattu District.
2. The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the land, which was reserved for public purposes, such as open space reservation, parks and children's play areas has been duly protected and there is no encroachment. Further, the sixth respondent is also taking steps to develop a parks and children's play areas in the land which is earmarked for common purpose, open space reservation and children's play area.
3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
