ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by PUSHPA SATHYANARAYANA, J.) The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the Respondents to enroll the petitioner as an advocate on the Roll of the Bar Council of Tamilnadu and Puducherry, within a time frame.

2. Heard Mr.M.Vijayaragavan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.K.Chandrasekar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. Admittedly, in this case, there are two criminal cases pending against the Writ Petitioner, which disable him from enrolling as a lawyer before the Bar Council of Tamilnadu & Puducherry. Though the petitioner has completed his law course in the year 2019 and got acquitted in one case, two cases are pending trial. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that only by virtue of the directions issued by this Court, a person having criminal cases against him cannot be permitted to enroll as a lawyer.

4.In view of the above, we are not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition and issue any direction. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
