ORDER
The petitioner is the wife who has been arrayed as respondent in HMOP.No.65 of 2025 before the Family Court, Thiruvallur. The petitioner is a resident of Naganullar, Chennai and seeks transfer of the proceedings to the Subordinate Court at Alandur, Chengalpet District, expressing inconvenience to travel and attend the proceedings before the Family Court, Thiruvallur. 2.The respondent, despite service of notice, has not chosen to appear either in person or through counsel.
3.I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also have gone through the affidavit filed in support of the application seeking transfer as prayed for.
4.I am satisfied with the reasons assigned by the petitioner for seeking transfer of the matrimonial proceedings.
5.In view of the above, this transfer civil miscellaneous petition is
allowed and HMOP.No.65 of 2025 is withdrawn from the Family Court, Thiruvallur and transferred to the Subordinate Court at Alandur, Chengalpet District. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
