The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider his representation dated 12.07.2023 and allot shop to the petitioner in the new flower market.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he was running a flower shop in the old market owned by the second respondent's Corporation. When the second respondent decided to construct a new flower market as per the Smart City Plan, he was directed to provide a temporary place to the petitioner. Now the construction of the new flower market is over. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 12.07.2023 to the respondents requesting them to allot a shop in the newly constructed flower market by taking into consideration his earlier right. The said representation has not been considered by the respondents in accordance with law.

3. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and Mr.Abishek Murthy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent, submitted that the petitioner was not alloted with any shop even in the old market by the second respondent's Corporation.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner to consider the representation submitted by him, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the respective parties, is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.07.2023 and pass final orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after giving opportunity to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. In view of the order passed in the main Writ Petition, the implead petition is closed.
