O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J) The prayer sought for herein is to direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's husband M.Manikandan, S/o Munuswamy aged about 32 years before this Court and set him at liberty.
2. Today when the HCP is taken up for hearing, Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police has produced the detenu viz., M.Manikandan, S/o Munuswamy, with whom we interacted and he would state that he married the petitioner and out of the marriage they gave birth to a child, who is now 5 years old and due to the misunderstanding between the petitioner and the detenu, the detenu claimed to have left the matrimonial house and has been leading a life with confused state of mind. But, he still wishes to join with the petitioner as well as their child. In this regard, he seeks some time to take a decision for re-union and according to him, as of now he is not in illegal custody at the hands of anyone.
3. In view of the said statement made by the detenu, we feel that recording the same the HCP can be closed. Accordingly it is closed.
