O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent either to consider my representation dated 05.07.2016 within a reasonable time.

2. The petitioner has got a BSNL Telephone connection in his native place at Kumarachery, Village, Thiruvallur Taluk. According to him for the last 7 months, there was no telephone connection and the petitioner had spent more than 1 lakh to

install CCTV cameral and also got Static IP from the 3rd respondent. Hence, he sent a representation dated 05.07.2016 to all the respondents. But, till date, there was no response and hence, the Writ Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Pleader(Pondy) submitted that already the respondents had intimated that wiring cannot be replaced and bills are generated only for the existence of the phone.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondents, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.07.2016, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim made by the petitioner.
