The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 29.07.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 332, 353, 436, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 3, 4, 5 of T.N.P.P.D.L. in Crime No.237 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that there is a Goondas proposal pending as against the petitioner.

3. Considering the above submission, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
