The representation dated 26.06.2024 seeking transfer of the prisoner from Central Prison, Coimbatore, Coimbatore District to Madurai Prison or some other prison is pending before the first respondent . Therefore, the writ of mandamus sought for the disposal of the representation.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the earlier petition dated 10.01.2024 for similar requests also not been considered.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submits the representation of the petitioner for transferring him from Central Prison, Coimbatore, Coimbatore District to Madurai Prison on two different grounds has been under the consideration of the first respondent and if it has any merit, the same will be considered.

4. Recording the undertaking, writ petition is disposed of with direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits preferably within a period of six 2/4
