By order dated 16.08.2022, the plaintiff was permitted to file an application for substituted service and the said application is listed today.

2. Pursuant to previous orders permitting the plaintiff to take private summons on the defendant, the plaintiff filed affidavits of service enclosing the returned postal covers. The plaintiff has also stated that in spite of taking reasonable measures to locate an alternative address, the correct address could not be located. In these circumstances, this application is liable to be allowed. The applicant/plaintiff is directed to effect summons by publication in one issue of the English daily "Times of India"and one issue of the Tamil daily "Thina Thanthi" with circulation in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. Such publication shall specify the next date of hearing as 19.09.2022. In addition, the applicant shall affix the notice on the Court Notice Board. List on 19.09.2022.
