This petition is filed to condone the delay of 77 days in filing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal against the judgment and award dated 26.10.2022 passed in MCOP.No.26 of 2020 on the file of MACT (Sub Court), Jeyamkondan.

2.Mr.M.J.Vijaya Raghavan, learned counsel enters appearance for the second respondent.

3.Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed and the Registry is directed to number the above C.M.A.SR.No.54108 of 2023, if the papers are otherwise in order.

4.In the eventuality of the petitioner succeeding in the appeal, interest may have to be reckoned only from the date on which the Registry takes the appeal on record.
