ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction to the respondent to issue no objection certificate to permit the petitioner to sell his vehicle bearing Registration No.TN 13 AJ 5022.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused all the materials placed before this Court. 3.

The petitioner involved in an accident while driving his car bearing Registration No.TN 13 AJ 5022, due to which one person died and as such, the respondent registered FIR in crime No.416 of 2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 281 & 106(1) of BNS, 2023. Thereafter, the respondent, on completing investigation, filed final report and the same has been taken cognizance by the trial court in CC.No.196 of 2026 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur and it is pending for trial. Now the petitioner seeks permission to sell his vehicle. Already the vehicle, which was involved in the accident, was subjected for motor vehicle inspection and the respondent also received motor vehicle inspection report. Therefore, the presence of the vehicle is no more required by the respondent as well as the trial court.

In view of the above discussion, the petitioner is permitted to deal with his vehicle bearing Registration No.TN 13 AJ 5022 by transfer

of ownership. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
