Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal, dated 15.05.2025, filed against the

proceedings in Ni.Mu.5291/2024/A3, dated 02.05.2025, on the file of the second respondent, forthwith.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed, praying for a mandamus to dispose of the appeal, dated 15.05.2025, pending on the file of first respondent.

2. The petitioner would submit that he had sought for cancellation of patta issued in the name of fifth respondent, however, the same was rejected by second respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal and the same is said to be pending before first respondent.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the official respondents, would submit that the appeal filed by the petitioner would be disposed of in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above, first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 15.05.2025, on merit and in accordance with law within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to petitioner, fifth respondent and all other interested parties.

5. Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. 29.07.2025 NCC :
