Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to detention order passed by the 2nd respondent against the detenu dated 07.09.2021 in detention order C.M.P.No.72/I.T.O/Salem City/2021 and set aside the same and produce the detenu Simon, S/o.Henry Premkumar, aged 33 years, now detained in the Central Prison, Salem, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C.M.P.No.72/I.T.O/Salem City/2021 dated 07.09.2021 detaining her https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

son as "Immoral Traffic Offender", as contemplated under Section 2(g) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.5064, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 28.10.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
