O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent Police to give necessary protection for conducting the Temple festival in Arulmiku Paladi Kathavaraya Suvami Thirukovil, which is to be held on 12.08.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the President of Arulmiku Paladi Kathavaraya Suvami Thirukovil and that, the Aadi festival in the Temple is to be held on 12.08.2016. There appears to be some dispute between the petitioner and the opposite party in the conduct of the festival. It is seen that the petitioner has sent the representation dated 30.07.2016 to the respondents by post.

4. Hence, the petitioner is directed to go in-person and give a representation to the 4th respondent Police and on such representation being given, the Police is directed to enquire both the parties and take action in accordance with law. With the above direction, this petition is closed. No costs.
