Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus, calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent, dated 26.02.2016 in Memo No.BCDFGISSSV No.206/2016 against the petitioner's son, the detenu herein, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu Thiru Prakash @ Desappan, son of Velankanni, aged 25 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu, namely, Prakash @ Desappan, son of Velankanni, aged about 25 years, has come forward with this petition, challenging the detention order passed by the second respondent dated 26.02.2016 against her son branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982).
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the detenu dated 26.02.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.2171, Home, Prohibition & Excise (X) Department, dated 18.05.2016, and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed, as the same has become infructuous.
