O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondent and with their consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to consider her representation dated 01.09.2015 and pass orders within a time frame fixed by this Court.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she applied for grant of lease for quarrying rough stone and gravel in respect of the land at Survey No.189/4A (Part) to an extent of 1.72.0 hectares in Sulakkal Village, Pollachi Taluk. She also paid requisite fee for the same. After due inspection, the authorities concerned recommended for grant of quarry https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

lease to the petitioner for a period of 5 years subject to certain conditions, as per which, the petitioner was requested to prepare mining plan for the area. Accordingly, she prepared mining plan and submitted the same along with a representation dated 01.09.2015 for the environmental clearance to the respondent herein. Since the said representation was not considered by the respondent, the petitioner is before this court.

4. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for herein, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
