This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner's property comprised in Survey Nos.363/1 (60 cents) and 364/1 (1 Acre 40 cents), Chettipalayam Village, Tiruppur Taluk, Tiruppur Dsitrict.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in Crime No.862 of 2016 dated 26.09.2016 before the 2nd respondent police.

4. It is seen that this petitioner purchased the property in question in Court auction and he has also been given possession by the Court in EA.No.148 of 2003 in EP.No.59 of 2000.

5. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry into the complaint given by the petitioner by calling both the parties and if it is found that the grievance by the petitioner is bona fide, the petitioner shall be given police protection.
