Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the 1st respondent to investigate and report Cr.No.433 of 2017 under Section 174 Cr.P.C dated 13.12.2017 on the file of Inspector of Police, Vellore Taluk Police Station, Vellore District and also enquiry may be done to the respondents 2 to 4 within the time limit stipulated by this Court. Heard Mrs.V.R.Helen Vimala Rani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Iyyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the first respondent.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that final report was filed before the Tahsildar, Vellore and further action also came to be dropped on 14.03.2018 and the same has been communicated to the petitioner through RCS.NO.21/18. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, no effective orders can be passed in the present petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the closure report, if he is advised to do so.
