The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner participated in the selection process and got selected to the post of cook. He was fully qualified to the post of cook and the 2nd respondent called the petitioner for certificate verification and the same was submitted by the petitioner. However he was not appointed to the post of cook. Thereafter he made a representation on 03.01.2017 to the 1st and 2nd respondent to appoint him as cook in the women prison, Coimbatore but till date his representation was not considered, hence the present Writ Petition is filed.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that it would be suffice to issue direction to the first respondent to return the original certificate submitted by the petitioner at the time of interview.
3. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the first respondent to return the original certificates submitted by the petitioner within a period of two(2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
