ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 18.09.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the offences under Sections 379,420,149 IPC in Crime No.356 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police,seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 15.09.2021, the car bearing Registration No.TN10AW8977 which was originally seized by the respondent police concerned with Crime No.354 of 2021 under Section 279, 337 IPC was kept in the police custody outside of the police station, the petitioner along with other accused persons had committed theft of the said car by using duplicate key and drove out of the police station. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that coaccused had already been released on bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.19380 of 2021 dated 21.10.2021. Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side)appearing for the respondent submitted that there are six previous cases pending against the petitioner.He further submitted that the investigation is still pending. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that there are six previous cases pending against him, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 01/11/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
