This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of O.A.No.18 of 2024 pending on the file of second respondent within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.P.Arumugarajan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.K.Karthikeyan, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner along with the other persons in the locality filed an application/ petition under Section 64(1) of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act before the second respondent. Since the same was not considered and no decision was taken, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with O.A.No.18 of 2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four (4) months from 2/4

the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
