Respondents This case came up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Mr.C.Prabakaran, the Learned counsel for the appellants and Mrs.R.Sreevidhya, the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Both the parties along with their respective counsel were present. 2.The appellants / petitioners have sought compensation before the trial Court. The trial Court awarded a sum of Rs.13,80,814/- with interest at the rate of 7.5% p.a.

3.Both the parties entered into negotiation and ultimately compromised the issue arisen between them.

4.In terms of the compromise, the 2nd respondent / 2nd respondent has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.14,00,000/- over and above the amount already awarded by the trial Court within a period of eight

(8) weeks. The appellants / petitioners shall receive the amount of compensation proportionately as ordered by the trial Court. 5.In terms of the compromise entered into between the parties, the appeal stands closed.

This Lok Adalat award is passed in terms of the above settlement.
