Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ and in particular a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pass an appropriate order in petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2016.

ORDER
The petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 19.07.2016 seeking change of her name in the water tax and property tax based upon the settlement deed said to have been executed by her mother in her favour on 05.02.2016. As the said representation dated 19.07.2016 has not been considered till date, despite the enquiry having been initiated in and by the proceedings dated 01.07.2016, the present writ petition has been filed for the aforesaid prayer.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate order, after issuing notice to all the interested persons, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
