Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to pass a considered order on the application given by the petitioner on 02.07.2016 and consequential relief by way of direction directing the respondent to issua a patta or patta name transfer in favour of the petitioner namely S.Maida Raja, Sithalapakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Senthamizh Nagar Extentions, Sub Division Number as per patta 50B & 50C comprised in Survey No.20/1A1A1A-1A1 patta No.2005 & 2006, measuring an extent of 10062 sq.ft.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
The petitioner claims to be the absolute owner of the property comprised in S.No.20/1A1A1A-1A1 Patta Nos.2005 & 2006, admeasuring an extent of 10062 sq.ft., situate at Senthamizh Nagar Extension, Sithalapakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, through a registered Sale Deed bearing Document No.2495/2005 dated 29.03.2005 registered on the file of the office of the Sub Registrar, Tambaram, and also made an application dated 02.07.2016 to the respondent for issuance of patta or name transfer in her favour and though it was received and acknowledged, no response is forthcoming and hence, she came forward to file the present writ petition. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2016 in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the person/s concerned and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the person/s concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
