Prayer in WP No.21795 / 2004:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondents to forward the manuscript nominal roll of the students admitted by the fifth respondent for teachers training diploma course for the academic year 2002-2003 to the fourth respondent herein and thereby consequently directing the respondents to permit the petitioners to sit for the second year diploma in Teachers Training Diploma Examinations commencing on and from 28.07.2004 or any other date to be conducted by the fourth respondent herein.
Prayer in WP No.21796 / 2004:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 to publish the result of the examination in the I Year Diploma in Teachers Training Course written by the petitioners on and from 24.09.2003 and to issue the marksheets of the petitioners so as to enable the failed candidates to sit for the arrears examinations in the failed subject of the I year diploma in Teachers Training course.

2. Even today, when the cases are taken up for hearing, neither the petitioners nor the learned counsel representing the petitioners are present.
3. Further, the prayer sought for by the petitioners, in
these writ petitions is, against the respondents to permit the petitioners to sit for the second year Diploma in Teacher Training Examinations and to publish the results of the examination in the I Year Diploma in Teachers Training Course written by the petitioners and to issue the marksheets of the petitioners.
4. This Court is of the opinion that such a prayer does not survive for adjudication, at this distant point of time.
5. In view of the above, these writ petitions stand disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected WPMPs are closed.
