PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 2nd respondent to provide police protection based on the petitioner's complaint dated 21.12.2020 to the 2nd respondent police. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 21.12.2020.

2. Heard Mr.C.S.Saravanan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. A careful reading of the averments made in the petition as well as the complaint given by the petitioner shows that there is a money dispute between the petitioner and the 3rd respondent. According to the petitioner, he has also filed an insolvency petition before the concerned Court and the 3rd respondent is forcibly trying to take possession of the property from the petitioner and left with no other option, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has given the complaint before the 2nd respondent.

4. In a case of this nature, the police will have no role to play and the petitioner has to necessarily work out his remedy only before the competent Civil Court.

5. Therefore, it is left open to the petitioner to approach the competent Court and work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

6. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
