Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the order made in Pen2/V/7897/Urg/2012-13 dated 29.01.2013 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to pay five percent personal pay to the petitioner.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by N.PAUL VASANTHAKUMAR,J.) Heard Mr.C.Munusamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Vijay Shankar, learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent and Mr.S.Haja Mohideen Gisti, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent.

2. This writ petition is filed challenging the order of the 1st respondent dated 29.1.2013 stating that 5% personal pay from 1.8.1992 is not eligible to the Copyist/Examiner.
3. During the pendency of the writ petition, fresh proposal was sent by the Registrar General of this Court to the Government and by letter dated 17.4.2014 in Letter No.26535/PC/2013-1, the Government extended 5% personal pay to all the individuals, who were holding the post of Reader, Examiner and Copyist in the Judicial Department as on 01.8.1992 / 01.9.1998.
4. The case of the petitioner was reviewed in the light of the said Government letter dated 17.4.2014 and the pensionary benefits of the petitioner have been revised, taking into account 5% personal pay granted from 01.8.1992 and necessary authorization for the revised benefits have also been issued on 17.12.2014.
5. In the light of the subsequent development, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous. The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
