O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to regularise the services of the petitioner from the date on which the petitioner completed 10 years of service as Grade-II Fitter on daily wage basis, in accordance with G.O.(Ms) No.131, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (F) Department, dated 28.11.2020, and by considering the representation, dated 24.07.2023, submitted by the petitioner. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that he was initially appointed as Fitter Grade-II on full time basis by the 4th respondent on 25.05.1990 in consultation with Employment Exchange viz., letter X2/T/60/90, dated 08.05.1990, and he is continuously working till now. The Government
issued G.O.(Ms) No.131, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (F) Department, dated 28.11.2020, to regularise the services of the persons, working on daily wage basis, who have completed 10 years of service as on 01.01.2006. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner submitted his representation to the 4th respondent, dated 24.07.2023, seeking regularisation of his services. However, it is the grievance of the petitioner that the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has come forward to file the present writ petition. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same.
4.Mr.P.Baladhandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.R.Baranidharan, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the 4th respondent. 5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner,
dated 24.07.2023, and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
