Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioners to the post of Librarian Grade III on regular time scale of pay from the date of initial appointment and pay monetary and consequential benefits eligible for Grade III Librarians.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioners to the post of Librarian Grade III on regular time scale of pay from the date of initial appointment and pay monetary and consequential benefits eligible for Grade III Librarians.

The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are all appointed as part time Village Librarian based on their qualification through employment exchange. They were appointed by 3rd and 4th respondents respectively. After the completion of 10 years of service, the petitioners are eligible to become Grade III Librarians. Therefore, the petitioners made a representation dated 12.04.2019, but till date their representation was not considered by the respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners have filed the above writ petition. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioners would further submit that it would be suffice to issue a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation in accordance with law.

Without expressing any opinion, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2019 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
