ORDER

When this matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent police submitted that the petitioner is a history sheeter and there are nine cases including a murder case pending against him.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner refuted the above allegations. According to him, the petitioner is a registered contractor with Chennai Port Trust and an Income Tax Assessee. According to him, petitioner has been roped in falsely by the prosecution in all the cases.

3. Be that as it may, the petitioner is recently involved in Crime No.1047 of 2016 and that later on he has been released on anticipatory bail by order dated 12.09.2016 in Crl.M.P.No.3395 of 2016 on certain conditions. According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor the petitioner did not comply with the conditions imposed for the grant of anticipatory bail.

4. In the light of the above, no direction as prayed for by the petitioner can be given and the original petition deserves https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

only to be dismissed.

5. In the result, the criminal original petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
