This petition has been filed to grant leave to file the contempt petition for non-compliance of the order passed by the respondent in Crl.O.P.No.22174 of 2021, thereby directed the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.7 of 2019 and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

2. Though the petitioner is not a party to the direction petition, he is also one of the victim in Crime No.7 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that as directed by this Court, the second respondent had completed the entire investigation and filed a final report as early as on 20.07.2024 before the Special Court for TNPID Act, Chennai. However, it was returned for certain corrections. Today, they had re-presented the final report in Crime No.7 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent.

4. Recording the said submission, this Sub Application is closed. Consequently, the contempt petition is also closed in the dairy stage itself.
