Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus, call for the records of the detention order No.104/BCDFGISSSV/2016 dated 15.02.2016, on the file of the second respondent herein, and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body of the detenue Jai@Jaison son of Chandrababu Hindu aged about 32 years who is now confined in Central Prison Puzhal before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu Jai@Jaison, son of Chandrababu, aged about 32 years, has come forward with this petition, challenging the detention order passed by the second respondent dated 15.02.2016 against her husband branding him as a "Goonda" as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 15.02.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.2327, Home, Prohibition & Excise (X) Department, dated 19.05.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
