2.Though notice has been served on the first respondent, none has entered appearance on his behalf.

Mr. J. Chandran, learned counsel undertakes to file vakalat for the second respondent.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the second respondent.

4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the delay is condoned and this petition is ordered on condition that the petitioner shall forfeit the interest for the delay period, in the event of this Court enhancing the compensation.
